CHICAGO – Juniors Chantalle Falconer (Byron, Ill.)
and Annie Brandes (Waukegan, Ill.)
were among nine women’s cross country athletes in the Chicagoland College Athletic Conference to be recognized for maintaining a perfect 4.00 cumulative grade point average when the conference announced their fall All-Academic Team on Monday, Jan. 28. A total of 63 student-athletes were honored, led by 14 from Olivet Nazarene University.
Also being recognized from the Tigers squad that finished third in the NAIA this past fall are:
- Seniors: Samantha Clark (Dundee, Ill.), Hannah Endrizzi (Normal, Ill.), Rebecca Garst (Peotone, Ill.), Lauren Streicher (St. Louis, Mo.)
- Juniors: Brandes, Falconer, Leah Livingston (Gibson City, Ill.), Christy Trank (Winnabego, Ill.) and Lauren Winters (Hilliard, Ohio)
- Sophomores: Meghan Houk (Urbana, Ill.), Kylie Lippencott (Waveland, Ind.), Madison Moyer (Burlington, Iowa), Jillian Versweyveld (Delavan, Wis.)
To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at her respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
