Olivet Nazarene University junior kicker Andrew Muzljakovich (Vicksburg, Mich.) earned Mid-States Football Association Midwest League Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the third time this season.
In the Tiger’s 43-42 loss to conference opponent Waldorf College (Iowa) on Oct. 13, Muzljakovich made in all four of field goal attempts from 22, 35, 36, and 27 yards. He also averaged 56.9 yards on eight kickoffs and 38 yards on three punts.
Against Waldorf, he tied the school individual single-game record for field goals made and attempted with four. He also has tied the school individual single-season record for field goals made and attempted in a season with 12 and 17, respectively.
Muzljakovich is 12-of-17 on field-goal attempts this season and is first in the MSFA Midwest in field goals made per game (1.71). He has also leads the Tigers in scoring with 41 points.
