Olivet Nazarene University junior kicker Andrew Muzljakovich (Vicksburg, Mich.) earned Mid-States Football Association Midwest League Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the fourth time this season.
In the Tiger’s 39-28 win over Iowa Wesleyan on Oct. 27, Muzljakovich made a 37-yard field goal and made all four PAT attempts. He also averaged 64.8 yards on five kickoffs and 49.6 yards on five punts, including a 82-yard kick in the third quarter that was downed at the one-yard line. The punt set a new single game individual record that broke the previous mark of 74 yards.
Against Iowa Wesleyan, he continued to stretch his record for fields made and attempted in a season.
Muzljakovich is 14-of-20 on field-goal attempts this season and is first in the MSFA Midwest in field goals made per game (1.56). He has also leads the Tigers in scoring with 52 points.
