Muzljakovich's career-long 49-yard kick earns him league honors

Olivet Nazarene University senior kicker Andrew Muzljakovich (Vicksburg, Mich.) earned Mid-States Football Association Midwest League Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the first time in 2013. He was a four-time recipient in 2012.

In the Tiger’s 43-26 defeat to St. Francis (IL) on Sept. 7, Muzljakovich made a career long 49-yard field goal in second quarter and followed it up with 48-yard make in the third. He also made both PAT attempts. He also averaged 65.0 yards on six kickoffs and 40.7 yards on six punts, including four inside the 20-yard line.

Muzljakovich is 2-of-2 on field-goal attempts and 2-of-2 on PATs this season, good for eight total points which leads the Tigers in scoring.
