ONU has 12 named to MSFA All-Academic Team

FINDLAY, OHIO — The 2013 Mid-States Football Association all-academic selections honor 12 Tigers for their work in the classroom. This year's selections include 38 players who have been honored previously. A total of 115 players have been named to this year’s squad.

Candidates must be a junior, senior or graduate student; must have made a contribution to the team; and must have recorded a 3.20 cumulative grade point average.

Tigers honored are:

Seniors

  • Defensive back Mark Kosrow (economics/finance major, Elk Grove Village, Ill.)
  • Offensive lineman Seth Barrigear (criminal justice major, Holland, Mich.)
  • Linebacker Colin Riberdy (psychology major, Bradley, Ill.)
  • Tight end Colton Parker (history/psychology major, Franklin, Tenn.)

Juniors
  • Defensive end Ryan Smith (math education major, Belleville, Ill.)
  • Strong safety Jared Carl (engineering major, Galesburg, Ill.)
  • Linebacker Keegan Block (accounting major, Caddo Mills, Texas)
  • Offensive lineman Jeff Glitz (intercultural studies major, Grand Blanc, Mich.)
  • Defensive back Lucas Limberg (criminal justice major, Rockford, Ill.)
  • Offensive lineman Alan Knol (business administration major, Manteno, Ill.)
  • Linebacker Josh Craig (athletic training major, Anchorage, Alaska)
  • Strong safety Caleb McKinley (exercise science major, Orlando, Fla.)

Colin Riberdy and Mark Kosrow are three-time recipients. Seth Barrigear and Colton Parker have received the distinction twice.
