He also helped lead his team to an IHSA 3A Regional Championship and overall 18-15 (6-3) record. Bollowing his senior season, he was selected to play in the Iowa-Illinois All-Star Game.

As a senior, Ryan averaged 7.0 points and 8.0 rebounds, and shot 70 percent from the free-throw line.

At Olivet, he will be asked to play the post positions.

Ryan joins Abraham Barwegen (Vicksburg, Mich.) as part of the Tigers' 2013 recruiting class.

He is a member of the National Honor Society, Comcast Leaders, a Principal Scholar, Illinois State Scholar, Graduation Marshall, and Achievers Scholarship Recipient. At Olivet, he will study engineering with a concentration in computer engineering.

He and his family attend Community Bible Church of Knoxville, Ill. In 2009, Ryan went on a mission trip to the Appalachian Mountains. Also, Ryan’s brother, Jared, is a current member of ONU’s football and track and field teams.
