TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — The No. 23 Olivet Nazarene University men's cross country team took a week-off from competition before running in the Rose-Hulman Pre-Nats hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (Ind.) at LaVern Gibson Course, on Saturday, October 6.
The Tigers bested 17 other teams in the eight-kilometer race and placed five runners among the top 100 out of 376 competitors.
The Tigers were again led by Nicholas Mizeur (Moline, Ill.) who came in 32nd with a time of 26:16. Marshall Hawn (Goshen, Ind.), who finished 63rd with a time of 26 minutes, 47 seconds. Kasey Ferrigan (Dixon, Ill.) came in 68th with a time of 26:51, while Daniel Wells (Danville, Ill.) finished 83rd with a time of 27:07. Caleb Bernhardt (Green Bay, Wis.) finished 94th in 27:13.
Ron Milbocker (Whitmore Lake, Mich.) finished 101st in 27:18. Michael Redmond (Batavia, Ill.) finished 106th in 27:20.
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Calif.) finished first overall, while Augustana College (Ill.) took second, Wabash College (Ind.) claimed third, and Johns Hopkins College (Md.) finished fourth.
The Tigers will be off for another week before returning to action on Saturday, Oct. 20, at the NAIA Great Lakes Invite hosted by Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Mich. The meet will be ran at Riverside Park at 11 a.m. (EST).
