GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — After a week off, the Olivet Nazarene University men's cross country team ran in the NAIA Great Lakes Invite hosted by Aquinas College (Mich.) at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids, Mich. on October 20.
The Tigers bested 24 other teams in the eight-kilometer race and placed their top seven runners among the top 100 out of 352 competitors.
The Tigers were again led by Nicholas Mizeur (Moline, Ill.) who came in 24th with a time of 25:59. Ron Milbocker (Whitmore Lake, Mich.) finished 47th in 26:28. Kasey Ferrigan (Dixon, Ill.) came in 49th with a time of 26:31. Marshall Hawn (Goshen, Ind.), who finished 57th with a time of 26 minutes, 41 seconds, while Zach Bozman (LeClaire, Iowa) finished 75th with a time of 26:59.
Daniel Wells (Danville, Ill.) finished 94th with a time of 27:14 and Michael Redmond (Batavia, Ill.) finished 98th in 27:16.
The University of St. Francis (Ill.) finished first overall, while Shawnee State University (Ohio) took second, Aquinas College (Mich.) claimed third, and Cornerstone University (Mich.) finished fourth.
The Tigers will be off for another week before returning to action for the CCAC Championships on Saturday, Nov. 3 hosted the University of St. Francis (Ill.). The race is ran in Lockport, Ill. at Dellwood Park at 11:15 a.m.
