CHICAGO, Ill. - Running in his first race back after redshirting one year
ago, Olivet Nazarene University's Dylan Creger (Almont, Mich.) showed no rust
in his return winning the ONU Midwest Classic on his way to being named the
Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the
Week, it was announced by the league office Tuesday morning.
Creger, a sophomore, ran a 25:52 over the 8K course to win
the race by nearly seven seconds in a field of 128 runners on Friday. He was one of seven Tiger runners to finish
in the Top 10 as the hosts ran away with the team title. Olivet Nazarene totaled 19 points with
Indiana Institute of Technology a distant second (71 points).
