Muzljakovich leads Tigers with 78 at Millikin Spring Shootout

DECATUR, Ill. — The Olivet Nazarene University men’s golf team took the course for the second straight day. On Thursday, they competed in the Millikin University (Ill.) Spring Shootout held at Red Tail Run Golf Course.

Olivet finished with an 18-hole score of 324 (+36) on the 6713-yard, par-72 course. The Tigers' fifth place finish was out of seven teams, competing against a total of 36 golfers.

Millikin University’s A team finished first with a score of 275 (-13). Wheaton College (Ill.) took second with a score of 292 (+4). The Millikin White team finished third with a score of 304 (+16). Fontbonne University (Mo.) took fourth with a score of 323 (+35).

Freshman Ryan Muzljakovich (Vicksburg, Mich.) led the way for the Tigers and finished tied for 12th with 78 (+6). Freshman Robert Wagner (Bethel, Ohio) finished tied for 16th with a 79 (+7). Sophomore Michael Bork (Rapid City, Mich.) shot an 83 (+11), finishing tied for 22nd. Freshman Ethan Drooger (Holland, Mich.) finished with an 84 (+12), tied for 28th. Junior Tyler Karraker (Bourbonnais, Ill.) shot an 89 (+17) and finished tied for 32nd.

The Tigers will be back on the course for the University of St. Francis (Ill.) Spring Invite on Tuesday, April 9, in Plainfield, Ill. at Wedgewood Golf Course.
