DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced Thursday that 114 men’s golf student-athletes have been named 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Clarke (Iowa) and Madonna (Mich.) lead all institutions with five individuals each on the list.

In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.

ONU had one golfer honored for his work in the classroom; junior Michael Bork (Rapid City, Michigan). He received the award for the first time.
