MOBILE, Ala. - The NAIA has announced that 94 men's tennis student-athletes have been named 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Belhaven (Miss.), Embry-Riddle (Fla.), Olivet Nazarene (Ill.), Spring Arbor (Mich.), Taylor (Ind.) and UVa.-Wise lead all institutions with four members on the list.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.

Olivet Nazarene University had four athletes honored this year: seniors Tim Thomas (Pontiac, Ill.), Joe Badagliacco (Midlothian, Ill.), Camilo Giraldo (Medellin, Colombia), and junior Landon Williams (Erie, Pa.). Thomas and Badagliacco are both two-time recipients and Giraldo and Williams are first-time.
