WHITEWATER, Wis. – Senior standout Joe Reisinger (Georgetown, Ill.) dominated two events in the Karl Schlender Invite, winning the shot put (16.25m) and weight throw (16.76m). He earned 20 points as the Tigers placed second among12 teams with 81 total points. The meet was hosted by UW-Whitewater on Saturday, January 19.
Other top performances on the track included sophomore David Powers (Security, Colo.), who won the 600 meter run (1:24.20). Freshman Isaiah Fink (Ypsilanti, Mich.) finished fourth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:04.15. Junior Mitchell Dale (Rochester Hills, Mich.) placed fourth in the one mile run with a time of 4:34.46. Freshman Brandon Divan (Oakwood, Ill.) came in fourth in the 3000 meter run in with a time of 9:32.39. Freshman Caleb Parsons (Watseka, Ill.) finished eighth in the 400 meter dash (53.64).
Among the top finishers in field events, sophomore Lucas Limberg (Rockford, Ill.) won the high jump with a leap of 2.01m. Limberg also qualified for the NAIA Indoor National meet with his finish. Sophomore Elisha DeRamus (Harvey, Ill.) won the triple jump with a finish of 13.90m.
The Tigers will be back in action on Friday and Saturday, January 25 and 26, for the NAIA/NCAA D3 Challenger, hosted by Olivet in the new Student Life and Recreation Center.
