Collalti to continue career as Tiger

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Coach Ritchie Richardson is excited to announce the first 2014 addition to the Olivet Nazarene University softball team. Sarah Collalti, a senior at St. Charles East High School, has signed a letter of intent to continue her education and playing career as a member of the Tiger softball team.
Collalti, a member of the 2012 Illinois High School Association (IHSA) 4A State Runner-Up Fighting Saints team, finished her junior year with an impressive .439 batting average and an on-base percentage of .539. She was also named to the Upstate East Conference (UEC) Academic All-Conference team.
As a member of the Bulls Sox 18U Gold summer travel team, Collalti hit .356 with an OBP of .431. She led the team in batting average, stolen bases, walks and runs scored.
Collalti excels in the classroom, maintaining a 4.9 grade point average. She also was a 4-year varsity letter winner in cheerleading where she helped her team to a ninth place finish at the IHSA Large Varsity Competitive Cheer State.
