Alyssa Pusateri, a junior at Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School, has signed a letter of intent to continue her education and playing career as a member of the Tiger softball team in the fall of 2015.
Pusateri, a 5-3 outfielder, was named Southwest Suburban Conference All-Conference as a freshman and sophomore. As a sophomore, she batted .382, and led the Boilers in runs (25) and stolen bases (15).
During the off-season Pusateri plays with the Illinois Stars. In the 2012-2013 seasons she played in 70 games, finishing with a .386 batting average and a .426 OBP, while adding 48 RBI’s, 51 runs and 20 stolen bases. In the fall of 2013, she finished with a .440 average and a .515 OBP in 32 games. She also connected for 17 RBI’s, 33 runs, 13 stolen bases and 2 home runs.
Academically Pusateri is in the National Honor Society. While attending Olivet she intends to major in exercise science.
“I’ve grown up in the same town as ONU and it has always been a dream for me to further my education, while playing the game I love there,” said Pusateri of her decision to attend Olivet.
