the Tigers managed a 10-2, six inning victory thanks for five Fighting Saints
errors, three wild pitches and three hit batsman. Olivet made a clean sweep of
the day, winning game two 14-1 in five innings.
The Tigers (16-2, 2-0) proved that they were strong from
top-to-bottom as the second half of the lineup combined for 10 hits, led by senior
Cheryl Sendzik (Mokena, Ill.) who finished 3-for-4 with two doubles and three
runs scored. Junior Megan Butler (Frankfort, Ill.) also went 3-for-4 with a

Junior Lindsey Stotler (Bloomington, Ill.) went the distance
for the Tigers in the circle, finishing with six strikeouts while allowing just
three hits and three walks. The win improved her season record to 4-1.
In the night cap, the top of the batting order contributed a
bit more. Junior Jordy Truelock (Princeton, Ill.) went a perfect 4-for-4 with a
double, six RBIs and two runs scored to the lead the Tigers. Senior Justine
Phillips (Metamora, Ill.) added a 3-for-4 performance with four runs scored. Sendzik

run fifth inning.

the season with the complete game win. She struck out four while allowing no
free passes. She allowed just three Fighting Saints hits.
Olivet will return to action at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2
to take on Purdue University – North Central in CCAC action. The Tigers beat
the Panthers in both meetings last season, winning 13-0 and 11-0 on April 3,
