CHICAGO --- Olivet Nazarene University and Cardinal Stritch University
(Wis.) combined to earn all but two honors when the 2014 Chicagoland Collegiate
Athletic Conference women's tennis awards were announced by the league office
on Friday May, 9.
Olivet Nazarene's Priscila Nunez (Montreal, Canada) made a
big first impression gaining CCAC Player of the Year honors in her inaugural
collegiate campaign. She went 12-1 in singles play and 13-2 in doubles
action during the regular season. Among Nunez's big wins
on the season were both singles and doubles victories against opponents from
NCAA II Winona State, NAIA No. 20 Marian (Ind.) and No. 19 Cardinal Stritch.
Teammates Seraphine Buchmann (Illnau, Switzerland) and Aziza
Butoyi (Burundi, Bujumbura), last year's CCAC Player of the Year, were
also named to the singles team. Cardinal Stritch was represented by Alexi
Loomis (Cedarburg, Wis.) and Amanda Timm (Milwaukee, Wis.).
St. Francis' Princess Clemente (Tinley Park, Ill.) rounded out

The names were much the same on the doubles side, where the teams of Nunez
and Buchmann and Loomis and Timm
