CHICAGO --- Olivet Nazarene University and Cardinal Stritch University (Wis.) combined to earn all but two honors when the 2014 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's tennis awards were announced by the league office on Friday May, 9.

Olivet Nazarene's Priscila Nunez (Montreal, Canada) made a big first impression gaining CCAC Player of the Year honors in her inaugural collegiate campaign.  She went 12-1 in singles play and 13-2 in doubles action during the regular season.  Among Nunez's big wins on the season were both singles and doubles victories against opponents from NCAA II Winona State, NAIA No. 20 Marian (Ind.) and No. 19 Cardinal Stritch.

Teammates Seraphine Buchmann (Illnau, Switzerland) and Aziza Butoyi (Burundi, Bujumbura), last year's CCAC Player of the Year, were also named to the singles team.  Cardinal Stritch was represented by Alexi Loomis (Cedarburg, Wis.) and Amanda Timm (Milwaukee, Wis.).  St. Francis' Princess Clemente (Tinley Park, Ill.) rounded out the list.

Of the six, Butoyi, Buchmann and Clemente were repeat selections.

The names were much the same on the doubles side, where the teams of Nunez and Buchmann and Loomis and Timm were honored.  Also making it as a doubles pair were Cardinal Stritch's Katuiska Adarmes (San Cristobal, TA, Venezuela) and Emily Kaftan (West Bend, Wis.)

Among that grouping, Buchmann was the only repeat choice.
