Tigers post big win over Holy Cross behind Geever's impressive performance

Bourbonnais, Ill. – Senior Miranda Geever (Moline, Ill.) posted a 28-point, six steal and seven assist night to propel the Olivet Nazarene University women’s basketball team to an easy 125-92 win over Holy Cross College (Ind.) on Saturday, Feb. 8. The win puts the Tigers in a tie for third in the tough Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) standings heading into the final two weeks of play.
Geever followed by four other players in double-digits: senior Liz Bart (Cary, Ill.) recorded 25 points and three steals, senior Taylor Haymes (Wentzville, Mo.) tallied 13 points, five rebounds, and five assists, senior Malory Adam (Aurora, Ill.) put up 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds, and sophomore Cortney Allenbaugh (Morton, Ill.) added 11 points and seized six rebounds.
Come out to and see the Tigers play Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) in another CCAC match-up on Wednesday, Feb. 12. St. Joseph resides in the middle of the CCAC standing with a 5-8 record. In their last meeting, Olivet came away with a 109-74 win over the Crimson Wave on the road.
