OTTER LAKE, Mich. – North Branch High School standout Rachel Losey has signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball playing career and education at Olivet Nazarene University.

Losey, a 5-4 guard, is a native of Otter Lake, Michigan. As a senior, she averaged 12.0 points per game, while shooting .410 from behind the arc. She also averaged 2.5 assists and 3.1rebounds per game.  The local sportswriters voted her the top female player in Lapeer County. She led the Tri Valley-East Conference in three-point percentage and three-pointers made.

While at Olivet, Losey intends to major in psychology. In the classroom, she was a two-time scholar-athlete and member of National Honor Society.

“I chose to come to ONU because they run one of the most exciting offenses in college basketball,” said Losey. “Also, I loved the coaches, the campus is beautiful, and it's the perfect place for my faith to grow.”

Losey is the daughter of Ken and Charlotte.
