CHICAGO --- Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament champion Olivet
Nazarene University claimed three of seven spots on the all-league team, while
Saint Xavier University registered the top two individual accolades when the
league office announced its 2014 CCAC women's golf award winners late Thursday
Lydia Bilyeu (Fulton, Ill.), Ashley Miller
(Springhill, Kan.) and Bridget Wolff (East Peoria, Ill.)
headlined the seven-member all-conference team for the Tigers. Saint Xavier's Taylor
Thompson (East Galesburg, Ill.) was named the CCAC Player of the Year.
The Tigers are in final preparation for their return to the NAIA National
Championships. The CCAC title game Olivet an automatic bid to the 20th Annual
Women’s Golf National Championship. This year’s even is at the Wilderness Ridge
Golf Club, Lincoln, Nebraska and runs from May 20-23, 2014. The Tigers first
and second round opponents will be William Woods University (Mo.) and Rocky
Mountain University (Mont.). Tee times are set for 1:20 p.m. (MST) on Tuesday,
May 20 and 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday.
