Five Tigers named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes

 ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Friday Nov. 30 that 492 women's soccer student-athletes have been named 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes, including five Olivet Nazarene University seniors.

Katie Dirkse (Downers Grove, Ill.), Katrina Holm (Antioch, Ill.), Devin Johnston ( Bloomingdale, Ill.), Meghan Pipal (Wheaton, Ill.) and Emma Reutter (Mason, Mich.) were all honored for the second consecutive year.

Student-athletes are nominated by their institution's head coach and must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status in order qualify for the honor.
