PARK FOREST, Ill. – The recent success of the Olivet Nazarene University women’s tennis team hasn’t gone unnoticed as they find themselves up four spots to No. 14 in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll. The Tiger have played well of late, including an upset of then undefeated Indiana Wesleyan University this past weekend. Olivet (10-6, 2-0) narrowly missed making a clean sweep of Purdue-Calumet, losing just one game on the afternoon. All three doubles matches ended with the Tiger up 8-0. Freshman Seraphine Buchmann (Illnau, Switzerland) took over the number one singles spot, downing Sarah Storm 6-0, 6-0. Senior Taylor Stephens (Ada, Mich.) defeated Lauren Innes in straight sets at number two, while freshman Charisma King (Kankakee, Ill.) make quick work of Felicia Deardorff at number three singles.
