Olivet has four named NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athletes

MOBILE, Ala. - The NAIA has announced that 119 women's tennis student-athletes have been named 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) and four other institutions lead with four members each.

Representing Olivet is seniors Ashlan Allison (Anderson, Ind.), Cassandra Brainard (Crawfordsville, Ind.) and Taylor Stephens (Ada, Mich.) and junior Lindsey Peterson (New Castle, Penn.). Allison, Brainard and Stephens are all two-time honorees.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
