BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The No. 17 Olivet Nazarene University women’s tennis played their final tune-up match before heading south for spring break on Friday, Feb. 21, falling 3-6 to the University of Northwestern Ohio. The Tigers continue to be led by freshman Priscila Nunez (Montreal, Canada) at No. 1 singles. Nunez and Buchmann make quick work of the Racer’s No. 1 doubles team, downing them 8-2. Seniors Aziza Butoyi (Burundi, Bujumbura) and Tiffany Aguirre (Bogota, Columbia ) fought hard at No. 2 doubles, but fell 3-8, while senior Lindsey Peterson (New Castle, Penn.) and Marta Quereda (Alicante, Spain) fell 0-8 at No. 3 doubles.

Nunez remained unbeaten on the season at No. 1 singles, downing Andrea Arango 6-2, 6-1. Buchmann also picked up a win at No. 3 singles, defeating Raquel Marques 6-3, 6-3. Aguirre made it close at No. 6 singles, falling 4-6, 6-2, 4-10.
