Peterson named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete

MOBILE, Ala. – Senior Lindsey Peterson, a senior on the No. 23 Olivet Nazarene University team was among 101 women’s tennis student-athletes to be recognized by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as a 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

Peterson, a native of New Castle, Pennsylvania, graduated in May with a degree in art. She is a two-time honoree.

In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
