University of Oklahoma where she holds the program record in the pole vault.
native of Erie, Pennsylvania, Acker graduated from Oklahoma with an
undergraduate degree in elementary education in August of 2011 after transferring
from West Virginia University. She
received her masters of education from Oklahoma in December of 2013, graduating
with a 4.0 GPA.

holds both the indoor (13-6.00) and outdoor (14-3.25) marks. She earned her first NCAA All-America

"Alexandra is a great addition to our staff. She is
obviously a great pole vaulter but has also mentored in the other jumping
events under one of the best jumps coaches in the country,” said McDowell of
